What is it like to drive a Formula 101 open-wheel racecar?
When driving an open-wheel formula car, you feel very a much part of the racecar. But, unlike a street car, you experience awesome acceleration and equally impressive braking. The wide cockpit offers excellent visibility and the lower semi-reclined seating position gives you a great feeling of connection with both your racecar and the track.
How long does a Formula 101 driving event take?
You attend either a morning or an afternoon session. Each session takes approximately four hours. There is plenty of time during lapping sessions to get to know your friends, clients or employees. Corporations and groups can schedule an all day event, with both morning and afternoon lapping sessions, and receive a free catered lunch on us!
Is driving a Formula 101 car safe?
Our driving circuits are set up in large open areas. The two tracks are clearly marked, with plenty of run-off area. While we do require that all participants and spectators sign a motorsport waiver, we have shared the Formula 101 driving experience with over 10,000 participants to date and have enjoyed a flawless safety record.
I have never driven a car with a clutch, can I still participate?
We often have guests who do not have any clutching or shifting experience. Using a very simple method, we take the time to show you how. Our instructors are usually able to safely get you up to speed in as little as one lapping session.
Is there a minimum age requirement?
All drivers must provide a valid operator’s license. With prior arrangement, drivers under 18 years of age may participate, but are required to have a parent or legal guardian sign a wavier and be present during the event.
How can I be sure that a Formula 101 driving event is right for my clients or employees?
